This gin and tonic aims to celebrate the slightly wild and darker early years of gin in England during 1730s. It’s a call back to the “London Frost Fairs,” where hot gin and gingerbread would be sold along a frozen Thames river.
During these years the popularity and low cost of gin saw an explosion of distillers much like today.
