This drink is inspired by the classic sling which serves as the oldest known definition for cocktails, and the Scofflaw cocktail from Harry’s Bar, Paris, invented in 1924. This cocktail brings together elements from both drinks whilst also highlighting the citrus forward and spice notes of Scapegrace Gin. The name ties in with Scapegrace’s own name and philosophy, paying homage to traditional gin and drinks whilst putting its own modern twist on them.
