During the 17th century, gin was being sold to pharmacies to treat various medical problems, Making it quite a common antidote. Any excuse for an alcoholic beverage, the British Colonies used gin to mask the bitter taste of quinine which helped them resist against the effects of malaria.

We have decided to move on from the traditional tonic and gone with a cola to help combine the flavours of chocolate and citrus whilst staying true to the origins of East Imperial.
